CareerSource Tampa Bay is soliciting public comments to its modification of the 2020-2024 Local Workforce Services Plan (1). The modification shall be effective January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024. CareerSource Tampa Bay’s four-year local plan must be modified at the end of the first two-year period to reflect changes in labor market and economic conditions and other factors affecting the implementation of its four-year local plan. Federal regulations require states and LWDBs to regularly revisit and recalibrate state plan strategies in response to changing economic conditions and workforce needs of the state (20 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 676.135).

(1) CareerSource Tampa Bay, in partnership with the chief local elected official (Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners), developed and submitted a comprehensive four-year local plan (2020-2024) to the state on March 16, 2020 as required by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The four year local plan may be accessed here.

(2) Mailed comments must be received by 5:00 pm, September 26, 2022, to be considered.
