~Michelle Zieziula Elevated to Chief Operating Officer at CareerSource Tampa Bay ~

 TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) is pleased to officially announce the promotion of Michelle A. Zieziula from Senior Vice President & Chief Impact Officer to Senior Vice President (SVP) & Chief Operating Officer (COO). Zieziula assumed the role on July 1, 2023. This significant step in CSTB’s executive leadership team marks a pivotal moment for the organization, recognizing the accomplishments of Ms. Zieziula since her arrival on October 5, 2020.

During her tenure as Chief Impact Officer, Michelle Zieziula spearheaded numerous key initiatives that have transformed the trajectory of CSTB. Some of her achievements include developing and implementing a comprehensive 5-year strategic plan, the establishment of the innovative Career Clarity Pod, designing a Community Partner Resource Platform and searchable database, and research initiatives, including program ROIs and Workforce Asset Mapping.

Moreover, she is currently working on the upcoming 2024 Finding Tomorrow’s Talent Today Summit, aimed at re-engaging youth who’ve not graduated from high school or dropped out and are not on a career track or working.  Ms. Zieziula’s dedication to the organization’s mission and exceptional leadership qualities have driven her success within CSTB.

In the Chief Operating Officer role, Michelle Zieziula has served as a central figure in the executive leadership and management of CSTB. Her role supports the CEO’s work and mission, focusing on overall system strategy and design, development, and implementation of strategic and research-based initiatives, marketing and public relations, business, community development and outreach efforts, MIS, data and performance compliance, and direct program services. She will oversee all day-to-day programmatic operations, ensuring the organization’s continued growth and success.

Ms. Zieziula’s career is distinguished by her more than 30 years of experience across the private, education, and public sectors, including manufacturing, university, economic, and workforce development domains.  She has served in multiple workforce roles, providing expertise in local, regional, state, and national government non-profits.  Ms. Zieziula is  recognized for her exceptional ability to innovate, design data-focused operational strategies, and foster collaboration among stakeholders.

“I am excited to take on my new role as Chief Operating Officer,” said Michelle Zieziula. “I will be supporting the CEO in strategic direction, system expansion from a revenue generation and technology capacity, and creating and fostering innovation and programming for the organization.”

Michelle Zieziula’s promotion to Chief Operating Officer is a testament to her commitment and expertise in workforce development. CSTB anticipates continued growth and impact under her leadership.
