Tampa, FL
– Hillsborough County residents who have been laid-off or terminated during the COVID-19 pandemic can apply for part-time jobs funded via the National Dislocated Worker
Grant (NDWG) program.
The jobs available with the grant are for:
• Part-time employment at 25 hours per week
• Wages of $15.50 per hour
• A 12-week program duration
• Hillsborough County Residents
“Hillsborough County residents who’ve lost their job loss or saw decreased income due to COVID-19,” said Christina Witt, CSTB Director of Programs. “We are working with select local
non-profits who need assistance to continue to recover from the impacts, as well as to serve a higher demand in the community. The National Dislocated Grant can help residents get
back on their feet while giving back to the community.”
Non-profit employers hiring through the grant include:
• Metropolitan Ministries
• Feeding Tampa Bay
• United Food Bank of Plant City
