~Past and present servicemembers receive priority assistance for career services~

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas (CSHP) is relaunching their Veterans Networking Group programming for 2025.   The group will meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon at the CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas, Tampa Center, 9215 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa FL 33612.

Open to veterans, transitioning service members, National Guard and Reserve service members, and eligible spouses exploring new career opportunities, these Veterans Networking Groups provide a dynamic platform for networking and knowledge-sharing.

These workshops are designed to prepare former and current service members with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to successfully transition into civilian employment.

Why Veterans Networking Group?

VNG is a place for military job seekers to come together to build upon personal and professional connections. Together, we will discuss how the workforce priority of services can assist with any job opportunities, education/training and resources that are available in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.

VNG is designed to provide veterans seeking employment or looking to enhance their career opportunities with resources, hear what other veterans are experiencing, learn best practices, and to provide support and guidance. Participants can meet with local veterans’ services representatives, CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas recruiters, employer guest speakers, and more to obtain this valuable information and insight into workforce trends, hiring practices, job opportunities, resources, and for building your career network.

February’s employer guest speaker will include Gabriel Rios from Southwest Airlines. They will share Veteran hiring initiatives at their organization, positions available, and the application process. Our resource guest speaker for February includes EJ O’Brien from FourBlock and he will be sharing information on their Career Readiness Program, a free program available for Veterans to assist with transition from military service to meaningful careers!
