TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) is partnering with American Legion Post 26 to host a Community Job Fair on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is invited to meet with some of Tampa’s top employers, and Veterans will have priority for the first hour of the job fair. The event will take place at the American Legion Post 26, 2207 W. Baker Street, Plant City, FL 33563.

Some employers attending include COMANCO, Rita Staffing, FDOT, Lambert’s Cable Splicing Company, LLC, Tampa Bay Fisheries, Gordon Food Service, Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, Goodwill Suncoast, and The City of Plant City.

Adjutant of American Legion Post 26, Mark Conner, said, “The American Legion wants to conduct beneficial events for our local community, and hosting job fairs is an important part of that outreach. Partnering with CareerSource Tampa Bay will help us focus on the employment needs of our local community.”

“CareerSource Tampa Bay understands that people may want to work close to home,” says CSTB Business Services Director Mario Rodriquez. “Our strategy includes having job fairs in all areas of Hillsborough County so we can serve all the people of the county in the neighborhoods in which they live.”
