CSTB Launches New Improved Website

~New website provides a more streamlined experience for our customers~

TAMPA FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) launched a new and improved website on Friday, July 1, 2022. Improved website features include enhanced mobile functionality, improved search engine optimization (SEO), video capabilities, graphics, an events page, and improved layout and design. There is also improved user experience through the movement of graphics and carefully planned content is what really sets this website apart.

We’re also working closely with a new vendor, Power On Marketing, a Tampa-based company that helped us design and develop the new site and is providing even more secure network and backup systems for the site.

“We spent the last year working on this new, improved website,” says VP Public Relations & Marketing, Doug Tobin. “We wanted a fresh, new look for visitors to our site, and we wanted to improve our customer experience to make it easier to find the services we offer to both job seekers and local businesses.

The CSTB website receives about 10,000 views per month or 1.2 million page views per year.

“We wanted to make sure people could easily find the information through search engines when we post a new job board or get a new grant for job seekers,” said Tobin. “The new SEO functionality allows us to get our message out to more people who are looking for a job or training.

The new site leverages the brand guidelines and colors used by CareerSource networks throughout the state of Florida.

“We also wanted to highlight some of the virtual features we offer at CareerSource Tampa Bay,” says President/CEO John Flanagan. “Our goal is to offer as many services virtually as we do in our service centers, and I think this website showcases many of those features well.”
