CareerSource Tampa Bay to Host Open Lab Hours

~ Instructors will assist customers with various Career Development & Job Search Preparation~

 

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) announces the establishment of Open Lab, a hands-on technical assistance experience for resume & cover letter formatting & critiquing, Employ Florida registration & navigation, Florida Ready to Work certifications and other e-learning platforms.

 

The primary focus is empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate various resume creation and formatting aspects.

Key features of Open Lab include:

  • Resume & Cover Letter Formatting & Critiquing: Our Employability Skills Training Instructors are well-versed in the latest resume formatting trends and industry best practices. They will guide you through creating a polished and professional resume tailored to your unique strengths and experiences.
  • Florida Ready to Work Certifications: Career readiness training and credentialing platform that provides job seekers with the foundational employability skills required to take the next step towards employment, including professionalism, effective communication, teamwork and collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Other E-Learning Platform Assistance: Our Open Lab supports various e-learning employability training sites while navigating through e-learning.

 

Employability Skills Training Instructors will guide customers through becoming gainfully employed, offering support to ensure resumes meet industry standards and stand out in today’s competitive job market.

 

“At CSTB, we acknowledge the importance of having a space that allows our customers to have an opportunity for e-learning, including but not limited to Florida Ready to Work employability skills training certifications, Alison, Employ Florida, and O*NET,” says Martiza Morales, Career Services Director. “Our hope is this initiative will allow customers to embark on a journey to refine their resumes, obtain valuable certifications, and confidently master e-learning platforms. We want to empower the residents of Hillsborough County to achieve their professional and educational aspirations.”
