CareerSource Tampa Bay’s Professional Networking Group Offers Career Advancement Opportunities

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) will be holding a Professional Networking Group of Tampa Bay (PNG) meeting in person on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at CSTB’s Tampa Center at 9215 N. Florida Ave., Room #19, Tampa FL, 33612.

 

Open to degreed professionals exploring new career opportunities, the PNG meeting provides a dynamic platform for networking and knowledge-sharing. The monthly meetings take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., allowing professionals to connect with like-minded individuals and enhance their career prospects.

 

PNG members can participate in a weekly seminar designed to transition the professional job seeker back into the workforce or to a meaningful career change. The group can also increase your job opportunities and networking.

 

The PNG aims to guide professionals in transitioning back into the workforce or making meaningful career changes through a weekly seminar. Participants benefit from valuable insights, increased job opportunities, and an expanded professional network.

 

Each monthly meeting features distinguished guest speakers, including top employers and seasoned HR (Human Resources) professionals passionate about identifying and recruiting top talent. These experts will share invaluable insights and actionable advice on finding the next career breakthrough or advancing within one’s current industry.

 

For the February meeting, the topic is “Career Conversations & Your Dream Job.” Angela Lyons, USF (University of South Florida) Health – Human Resources/Talent Management Business Partner for the University of South Florida, will be the guest speaker.

 

“There are opportunities everywhere; take the first step,” said Melissa Nelson, Business Development Manager.

 

The Professional Networking Group of Tampa Bay (PNG) is seeking job seekers who have:

  • A four-year degree or higher
  • And/or have five years or more of Management level experience
  • Or were earning at least $45,000 in yearly salary
  • Or you are a recent college graduate
  • Special exemptions are considered. PNG members can participate in a monthly seminar designed to transition the professional job seeker back into the workforce or to a meaningful career change.
