~2022 State of the Workforce Survey Results~

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) sought input from Hillsborough County employers and job seekers as part of an annual State of the Workforce Survey. There were two different surveys, one for Employers and another for Job Seekers. Questions in the surveys focused on the employment landscape in Hillsborough County. The survey asked various questions about the type of businesses in the County, the number of staff, the age of the company, hiring needs, and top hiring tools. A separate survey asked job seekers questions such as where they live and where they work, and about various CSTB programs, services, and websites.

 

The information survey was open from April 1, 2022 until June 30, 2022, as part of a strategic goal for CSTB and to help enhance our services to the business community. In addition to a business survey, CSTB also surveyed job seekers to better understand their employment desires. CSTB requested that only one survey per employer and job seeker were to be filled out. Information for the survey will be used by CSTB to determine if any changes, additions, or adjustments need to be made to services provided to the businesses and job seekers.
