~ Resource fair will help Veterans prepare for Paychecks for Patriots job fair ~

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) will host a Veteran’s Resource Fair on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the CareerSource Tampa Bay Brandon Center located at 6302 E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Suite 120, Tampa, FL 33612.

This Veteran’s Resource Fair will provide our military community with resources and the opportunity to prepare for our upcoming annual Paychecks for Patriots Veterans Job Fair on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at South University located at 4401 North Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614. More than 30 employers are expected to take part in this year’s Paychecks for Patriots Job Fair.

The event is another opportunity to celebrate and give back to the Veterans in our community ahead of Veterans Day! The Florida Department of Commerce, the Florida National Guard, and the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs, partnered with CareerSource Tampa Bay, will connect Veterans and their families with resources to support them during their job search and upcoming job fair.

The following resources will be available at the Resource Fair:

• CSTB will provide free professional headshots for Veterans, military spouses, military service members, and their families so their LinkedIn profiles can be updated
• Resume review station
• Mock interview demonstration
• Elevator Pitch Assistance
• Access to print updated resumes
• Community partners providing additional Veteran resources
• And more career prep
