CSTB Hosts Two Webinars for Hillsborough County Employers

CareerSource Tampa Bay is hosting two informational webinars for Hillsborough County Employers

~Webinars will inform employers on the Rapid Response Recovery Program (R³) ~

 

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay will be hosting two webinars for Hillsborough County companies on Thursday, July 30, 2020. These webinars will provide Hillsborough County Employers with information on the Rapid Response Recovery Program (R3).

The webinars will inform employers on how to receive up to $12,000 for every employee hired, and how to earn an additional $2,500 in employee retention bonuses. The events will be 30 minutes long.

Employers can attend by saving the link for the event they plan on attending and clicking the link above on the scheduled time and date.

There is no cost to Hillsborough employers participating in the program. Eligible businesses must meet the following criteria:

• Eligible positions must meet Florida minimum wage requirements

• Employee worksite location must be in Hillsborough County

• Eligible businesses must be for-profit businesses in Hillsborough County

• In operation for at least one year

• Businesses must have suffered economic impact due to the COVID-19 outbreak

The goal of the webinars is to provide Hillsborough County employers with information on the benefits of the Rapid Response Recovery Program (R3), and how they can allow CSTB to help expand the skilled workforce in Hillsborough County in the areas of most need.

The R3 program is funded through the Federal Cares Act with funding released by the Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners.

CSTB is distributing up to $21.5 million in funding to Hillsborough County Job Seekers and Business as part of the program.
