Job Fair dedicated to the construction industry
~ Boulevard at West River Job Fair ~
TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) along with Tampa Housing Authority are hosting the Boulevard at West River Job Fair. The Job Fair will be held for individuals in the construction field looking for skilled or unskilled labor opportunities and work on the Boulevard at West River Project. This job fair takes place Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The Job Fair will be held at CareerSource Tampa Bay located 9215 N. Florida Ave. Tampa, FL 33612. Participants should arrive at 3:00 pm for pre-registration. Eight employers will take part with a total of 60 different openings. The positions include laborers, masons, and sales estimators. This multi-family project consists of two 8-story 119-unit buildings and one 8-story 126-unit building constructed of concrete masonry units and hollow-core planks. Common areas will include a community room, fitness center, library, game room and retail space on the ground floor.
Suffolk is the General Contractor and DuCon Construction is the Diversity Teaming Partner on the projects. “Construction booming in the Tampa Bay Area is bringing great opportunities for our career seekers,” said Carmen Cruz with CareerSource Tampa Bay.
