TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas is hosting a Broadband Apprenticeship Event in Partnership with Collabfirst on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at our Tampa location at 9215 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, FL 33612 to connect local job seekers with exciting apprenticeship opportunities in the growing broadband industry.

The all-day event will feature employer workshops, information sessions on the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), and scheduled interviews for qualified candidates.

Job seekers interested in launching a career in the broadband sector are encouraged to attend the morning session, which includes registration from 9:30 am to 10:00 am and an Employer Workshop and Information Session from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Participants will have the chance to learn directly from potential employers about available apprenticeship programs and the skills they are seeking.

From 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, an informative WIOA Info Session will provide details on potential funding and support services available to eligible individuals pursuing apprenticeship opportunities. A lunch break is scheduled from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Lunch will not be provided; Candidates must provide their own lunch.

Candidates who attend the morning sessions will be eligible for Scheduled Interviews with participating employers from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This provides a valuable opportunity for job seekers to make a direct impression and potentially secure an apprenticeship.

Attendance at the morning session is mandatory for consideration for afternoon interviews.
