CareerSource Tampa Bay teams-up with Hillsborough County Libraries to hold Virtual Job Fair

~More than 15 Hillsborough County Businesses to participate in the event~


TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) and in partnership with the TampaHillsborough County Public Library and Commissioner Sandy Murman, will be holding a Virtual Job Fair on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. This event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will be held online.

“We are excited to offer a virtual job fair event,” said Dan Schneckenburger, Business Services Director. “COVID-19 forced us to move up our plans to provide more services virtually and job fairs play a big part in helping the community. If you are looking for a job, we encourage you to participate in this online event.”

Job seekers must register to participate in the virtual job fair by visiting this webpage: Job seekers will also have an opportunity to create a profile to include uploading of resume and a profile photo.

A variety of industries will be represented in the job fair including healthcare, finance, retail and staffing firms. The Virtual Job Fair will include more than 15 employers with more than 500 job openings. Healthcare companies like Guidewell is seeking to hire more than 100 positions and will attend the job fair as well as companies listed below:

• Florida Department of Health: RN, LPN, Biological Scientist, Senior Clerk, Health Educator and GOC (Total of 195 job openings)

• Frank Crum Staffing: Bilingual Compliance Administrator, Bilingual Customer Service Representative, Diesel Mechanic, General Labor

• Sutton Contracting: Safety Manager, Siding and Housewrap Installer

• Fifth Third Bank: Retail Personal Banker I, Retail Personal Banker Associate I, National Home Builder CRE Portfolio Manager III, Construction Risk Portfolio Manager, Mortgage Area Sales Manager I •

JMI Resource: Warehouse Storekeeper, Tool Room Attendant, Shipping and Receiving Clerk, Administrative Clerk
