CSTB to Hold Annual Career-Training Information Fair

~Meet with vendors about financial assistance for education or career training ~

 

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) hosts a Virtual Career-Training Information Fair on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. via a virtual platform. Individuals who are looking for financial assistance to go to school or career training are encouraged to attend. The event will give an overview of the variety of training options available to individuals in Hillsborough County and features CSTB’s approved training providers.

Individuals interested in training for a new career can also obtain information on applying for tuition assistance. Services available through CSTB Tuition Assistance programs may include:

• Tuition assistance that includes books and materials

• Vocational guidance

• An assigned Career Coach for career guidance Individuals must register to participate in the Virtual Career Training Information Fair by visiting this webpage:

This Virtual Career Training Information Fair will allow individuals to discover training programs available through CSTB and gain valuable information to make informed decisions on their next career training move.

Training is offered in but not limited to the following in-demand industries:

• Healthcare

• Information Technology

• Manufacturing and Trades

• Professional Services

• Retail and Hospitality

Hillsborough County residents can attend the Virtual Career-Training Information Fair, and additional eligibility requirements must be met to obtain financial assistance from CareerSource Tampa Bay.
