CareerSource Tampa Bay and Empath Health to Host Veterans Resource Fair Supporting Military Families
~ Event Connects Florida Veterans with Community Resources~
TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay, in partnership with Empath Health and Humana CarePlus Health Plans, Inc., will host a Veterans Resource Fair on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Tampa Center, located at 9215 N. Florida Ave, Suite 101, Tampa, FL 33612.
The event is dedicated to connecting veterans, active military service members, and their families with essential resources from local service organizations.
During the event, participants will have the chance to speak with organizations that provide support with barriers such as (but not limited to) food insecurity, housing assistance, utility assistance, and healthcare. Additionally, CarePlus Humana will be sponsoring free refreshments at the event.
As a proud partner of the American Job Center network, CareerSource Tampa Bay aims to provide a centralized hub where the military community can access vital support services. Representatives from various regional organizations will be on-site to offer guidance on healthcare, employment, and community-based benefits.
“This resource fair is a critical part of our commitment to those who have served,” said Paul Casebolt, CSTB One-Stop-Operator. “By bringing together partners like Empath Health and local service providers, we ensure our veterans and their families have direct access to the tools they need for success and well-being.”
“Veterans are one of our most valuable resources and underserved populations in our community,” says Ashley Sard, Community Partnership Specialist with Empath Health. “The goal of this event is to bring together a variety of supportive services to lift up those who made significant sacrifices for our nation. They served us – now it’s our turn to serve them.”
