CareerSource Tampa Bay to Host Coffee & Careers 

~ A community event to help career seekers prepare for the New Year ~  

TAMPA, Fla. – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) will be hosting an event to help prepare local job seekers for career search, exploration, and readiness. Coffee & Careers will be held on Tuesday, December 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at CSTB’s Tampa Center, located at 9215 N. Florida Avenue, Suite 101, Tampa, FL 33612.  

During the event, job seekers will have the opportunity to grab a fresh cup of coffee and sit with a Career Coach or other CSTB team member for a complimentary resume evaluation. 

Additionally, following the event, a CSTB Employability Skills Training Workshop Instructor will present one of the newest additions to our workshop catalog, Harnessing AI, to provide job seekers with information on leveraging artificial intelligence in their job search. 

“When we harness artificial intelligence, we equip job seekers with the tools to transform their success and future,” says Armando Perez, Coordinator of Career Services. “As we approach the new year, our Coffee & Careers event offers the perfect opportunity for job seekers to gain a competitive edge by getting complimentary resume evaluations and learning how to leverage emerging tools like artificial intelligence.”  

Other services available during the event include: 

• Virtual Reality Career Exploration 

• Free professional photographs by the CSTB marketing team 

• Fitting for free interview/professional clothing 

All members of the community are invited to join us. Participants need to complete a profile on Employ Florida and are encouraged to do so prior to the event at www.employflorida.com. 

CSTB staff will be available to assist with registration on the day of the event but individuals are encouraged to register prior to the event at https://careersourcetampabay.com/events/careers-and-coffee-job-prep-event/.
