CareerSource Tampa Bay to Host Veterans Networking Group Meeting on March 12th, 2024

CareerSource Tampa Bay to Host Veterans Networking Group

~ March Topic -Job Interviewing Skills ~

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) will be holding a Veterans Networking Group of Tampa Bay (VNG) meeting on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at CSTB’s Tampa Center at 9215 N. Florida Ave., Room #13, Tampa FL, 33612 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The VNG is a recurring, in person monthly meeting held every second Tuesday.

The VNG is a group of Veterans, Transitioning Service Members, and Military Spouses that meet periodically to find opportunities to network for resources, job-seeking best practices, and discuss challenges and experiences for career development.

VNG is a place for Military job seekers to come together to build upon personal and professional connections. Together, we will discuss how the workforce priority of services can assist with any job opportunities, education/training, and resources available in Hillsborough County.

VNG provides veterans seeking employment or looking to enhance their career opportunities with resources, hear what other veterans are experiencing, learn best practices, and provide support and guidance. Participants can meet with local Veterans Services Representatives, CareerSource Tampa Bay recruiters, career coaches, and more to obtain valuable information and insight into workforce trends, hiring practices, job opportunities, resources, and building their career network.

Each month, the VNG will invite one military-friendly employer to attend, provide a short overview of their company, and share details about open job requirements they have at the time.

Additionally, we will have a presenter who will discuss job-seeking best practices for the good of the group.

All attendees must create a profile on https://www.employflorida.com/vosnet/loginintro.aspx to attend.
