CareerSource Tampa Bay to Launch New Quarterly Employer Series Highlighting Apprenticeships 

~ Inaugural “Unlocking Apprenticeships” Session Features AICPA & CIMA. ~ 

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) is excited to announce the launch of its new quarterly series, “Unlocking Apprenticeships.” The first virtual session will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. via Zoom.

The event, titled ” Unlocking Apprenticeship: The CGMA Apprenticeship Experience,” is designed to educate employers on the versatility and benefits of modern apprenticeship programs. The featured guest speaker is Faith M. Balshan from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA), a leader in professional development and education.

AICPA & CIMA currently offers three distinct apprenticeship occupations:

·        Finance Business Partner

·        Accounting Associate

·        Finance Associate

“This virtual information session will provide an overview of how these programs can serve as a pipeline for skilled talent”, said Karoline Guerrero, CSTB Apprenticeship Navigator. “Employers will gain a better understanding of how apprenticeships can be a valuable, flexible, and sustainable solution for their workforce needs.”
