CareerSource Tampa Bay to host Virtual Youth Career Fair!
~ Job Fair Connects Young Adults with Career Opportunities ~
TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) to host a Virtual Youth Job Fair dedicated to employing unemployed or underemployed young adults on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Young adults, 17-24 years of age, interested in participating can register for the hiring event by going to the following website: https://pvapi.premiervirtual.com/s/xvRV6x.
Teens and Young adults experience higher unemployment rates than the general population. CSTB is partnering with multiple employers with seasonal and year-round labor demands in Hillsborough County to address this need. While this event is intended for job seekers ages 17-24, anyone is welcome to participate.
“This is an important way for us to give back to the community and assist young adult jobseekers with entering the workforce,” said April Torregiante, VP of Policy and Programs. “We hope to break some of the barriers many young people face when entering the labor market. We are excited to be a part of this initiative.”
During the event, CSTB will provide the opportunity for young adults to connect with employers from a wide range of industries, including:
