RESEA is a mandatory, federally funded program designed to support individuals receiving Reemployment Assistance (RA) benefits. In Florida, RESEA connects you to the resources, tools, and guidance you need to get back on track—and back to work—quickly and confidently.

What You’ll Receive Through RESEA

As a RESEA participant, you’ll get access to individualized, one-on-one support through your local CareerSource Tampa Bay center, including:

• Orientation – Learn about the RESEA program and the wide range of services available to you.
• Objective Assessment – A personalized review of your skills, experience, goals, and any barriers to employment.
• Labor Market Information (LMI) – Current job trends and opportunities tailored to your background.
• Individual Employment Plan (IEP) – A customized action plan to guide your job search and career development.
• Work Search Activity – Claimants are referred to an additional activity relevant to the results of their objective assessment.
• Referrals and Resources – Referrals to resume help, workshops, career counseling, and training opportunities.
• Follow Up Services (One/Two Months After Appointment) – The RESEA staff member will follow up with the claimant during their job search to provide additional employment services as needed.
