Summer Youth Jobs Program looks to fill openings in Pinellas County

~ Paid summer employment available for eligible youth in Pinellas County ~

CLEARWATER, FL – CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas is accepting youth applications for the Summer P.A.Y.S. (Preparing Area Youth to Succeed) program in Pinellas County. While applications for the Hillsborough County summer program, Tampa Bay Summer Hires, are now closed, Pinellas County youth who qualify for free or reduced lunch can still apply for this exciting paid opportunity.

Summer P.A.Y.S. offers participants valuable work experience, career exploration, and job-readiness training to help bridge the gap to long-term employment.

Participants in Summer P.A.Y.S. will:

·         Earn $15 per hour

·         Work up to 20 hours per week over a six-week period

·         Gain real-world experience with local employers

·         Participate in professional development and career workshops

·         Build skills in teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving

The program is open to eligible Pinellas County youth, especially those who qualify for free or reduced lunch. Spots are limited, and interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as the program starts on June 6, 2025.
