Earn an industry-recognized credential in as little as 16 weeks while building your resume and gaining valuable work experience with a local employer. Participants may receive tuition assistance, career preparation, and paid work experience at $15 per hour with an employer in Hillsborough or Pinellas County.

The ACE Program is designed for young adults ages 18–29 who are interested in short-term occupational skills training that leads to industry-recognized certifications, meaningful work experience, and a pathway toward sustainable employment and career advancement. Income eligibility requirements apply.
ACE combines classroom-based occupational skills training with paid, hands-on work experience, giving participants the opportunity to build skills, earn a credential, gain real-world experience, and prepare for today’s workforce.
Please note: ACE is an Earn and Learn workforce training program and is not a Registered Apprenticeship. While participants receive occupational training and paid work experience, ACE is a separate workforce training model and should not be represented as a Registered Apprenticeship program.
To begin the registration and enrollment process for the ACE Training Program, applicants must complete the ACE Registration & Prescreen Form below.
Once your prescreen is submitted, you will be assigned to an ACE Coach, who will contact you within two (2) business days regarding your next steps.
ACE services are eligibility-based. An ACE Coach will work with each applicant to review the application, collect any required documentation, and determine eligibility for program services.
