CareerSource Tampa Bay Announces Brandon Center Closure 

~Workforce services will continue at six other career centers while the agency evaluates future opportunities to serve the Brandon community. ~ 

TAMPA, Fla. — CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) will permanently close its Brandon Center, located at 6302 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Ste.120, Tampa, FL 33619, effective Friday, August 28, 2026.  

CSTB is actively evaluating potential locations and exploring new opportunities to continue serving the Brandon community, including possible co-location partnerships.  

Workforce services will continue to be available at CSTB’s six other career centers across Hillsborough and Pinellas counties:  

  • Tampa Center: 9215 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, FL 33612 
  • Ruskin Center: 201 14th Ave. SE, Ruskin, FL 33570 
  • Plant City Center: 307 N. Michigan Ave., Plant City, FL 33563 
  • Gulf to Bay Center: 2312 Gulf to Bay Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33765 
  • St. Petersburg Center: 3420 8th Ave. S., St. Petersburg, FL 33711 
  • Tarpon Springs Center: 682 E. Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689 

“While this transition was not anticipated, it gives us an opportunity to rethink our service model and explore new ways to serve the Brandon community,” said Keidrian Kunkel, President and CEO of CareerSource Tampa Bay.
