CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas to Host Coffee & Careers Event

~ A community event to help career seekers prepare for what’s next ~

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas (CSHP) will host Coffee & Careers on Thursday, September 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at CSHP’s Tampa Center located at 9215 N. Florida Avenue, Suite 101, Tampa, FL 33612.

During the event, job seekers can grab a fresh cup of coffee and work with a Career Coach or other CSHP team member on a free resume evaluation.

Following Coffee & Careers, CSHP will offer an Employability Skills Workshop on developing a marketable resume at 2:00 p.m. “Our Employability Skills Workshops allow job seekers to hone both soft skills and hard skills as they look for a new opportunity. This makes them more attractive and more valuable to a potential employer,” said Armando Perez, Career Services Coordinator.

“In less than two weeks, we will host a job fair at Hillsborough Community College’s South County campus. This will be a great opportunity for job seekers to refresh their resume right before the job fair on September 17^th,” said Paul Casebolt, CSHP’s One-Stop Operator.

All members of the community are invited to attend. Participants are asked to complete a profile on Employ Florida prior to the event at www.employflorida.com. CSHP staff will be available to assist with registration on the day of the event.
