CSTB Plans To Reopen Offices in May

CareerSource Tampa Bay Reopening Offices – Part of Phase I Plan

~North Florida offices will open with limited operations effective Tuesday, May 19, 2020~

 

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) will reopen the Tampa Center location with limited career services from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, effective Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

The Tampa Center is located at 9215 North Florida Ave, Suite 101,Tampa, FL 33612. The Phase I reopening of the Tampa Center is to provide customers that do not have computer access or those with limited computer skills with specific services.

The following limited services will be offered in the Resource Room:

• Basic Reemployment assistance services

• Job Search registration and/or assistance

• Access to computers, printers and faxing Customers with access to their own computers are encouraged to utilize their personal access instead of coming into the center.

Customers requiring assistance from home can contact the Customer Contact Center Monday through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 813-930-7400. The contact center will no longer offer weekend hours. Resource Room capacity will be reduced and a one-hour time limit will be enforced during this time of providing limited services. While the Resource Room is not to be confused with the DEO unemployment office, CareerSource Tampa Bay staff will have limited ability to assist with Reemployment (unemployment) Claim Assistance filing.

Social distancing guidelines will remain in place, employees will be given personal protection equipment such as face masks. Customers will be encouraged to wear face masks while on site and will be required to sanitize their hands upon entry in the CSTB center. Customers will also be screened and anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19, will not be permitted into the building.

“We have been working diligently and taken much thought and consideration into this next step of reopening our facilities”, said CEO John Flanagan. “We do want to make sure that we are available to assist our customers and that we’re doing everything we can to help during this crisis in a safe and smart manner.”
