Career Source Tampa Bay recognizes new Director of Business Services

Dan Schneckenburger is the new Director of Business Services for CareerSource Tampa Bay. Dan has quite the experience with business development and engineering roles. While living in the mid-Atlantic area, his roles included working with energy businesses, chemicals, manufacturing, and construction; in which he also received a LEED A.P. certification. Schneckenburger has a B.S. degree from the University of Delaware, and is a former elected official (Vice President of Cecil County Council in Maryland). “I am excited to work in the Tampa Bay region, in an area of high diversity in business type and workforce participants,” said Schneckenburger. “Add to that a very active military instillation, along with a growing entrepreneur community, and Tampa is poised for continued growth, and should continue to attract all types of job seekers.” Dan Schneckenburger served ten years on the Board of Directors of Susquehanna Workforce Network, a
workforce investment board in Northeast Maryland. Susquehanna Workforce Network has a very successful business service model, engaging businesses in developing their workforce through hiring support and targeted training.

Career Source Tampa Bay will be focusing its Business Services unit on the following Hillsborough County Sectors in the next year: 1) Healthcare, 2) Transportation/Trades, 3) Hospitality/Retail, 4) Information Technology, 5) Manufacturing/Logistics 6) Finance/Professional Services and 7) Military Affairs.
