TechBoost is a national program that provides comprehensive workforce strategies to prepare the workforce for middle-to-high-skilled occupations within the Information Technology industry.

TechBoost seeks to build public-private partnership of education, workforce, employers, and other stakeholders to leverage grant funds with existing resources to increase Information Technology (IT) and IT-related industry sector-based credentials and work-based training.

The Tech Quest Apprenticeship or TQA program is part of a federal program and on average can provide $600 in occupational training assistance under the grant. CSTB has received a total grant award of $79,000 from TechQuest. Participants may be co-enrolled with WIOA program.

TQA assists Information Technology (IT) and IT-related apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeship programs in development, expansion, and active enrollment.

In both Tech Quest Apprenticeship (TQA) and TechBoost, training must be in occupations and industries for which employers are currently using H-1B visas to hire foreign talent.
