ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) is partnering with St. Petersburg College (SPC) to expand access to education and workforce training for Hillsborough and Pinellas County residents facing financial challenges, highlighting the impact of bringing education and workforce development together to strengthen Tampa Bay’s economy.
Through the partnership, CSTB will help eligible residents explore SPC’s academic and short-term workforce training programs, connect with available financial assistance, and navigate education and career pathways.
The partnership expands access to affordable, flexible education and training opportunities that can prepare residents for high-demand, high-wage careers across the Tampa Bay region.
Residents can learn about education and training opportunities aligned with critical workforce needs across Tampa Bay, including nursing and allied health, semiconductor and advanced manufacturing, line worker training, information technology, public safety, skilled trades, and more.
“Affordability should never stand in the way of opportunity,” said Keidrian Kunkel, President & CEO of CareerSource Tampa Bay. “By working together, we’re helping more residents learn about the education, training, and funding available to build careers that offer long-term stability and growth.”
Interested participants can complete an interest form on SPC’s website to learn more and connect with available opportunities.
