More than 50 Employers to attend CareerSource Tampa Bay Job Fair

~500 job seekers are expected to attend~

 

TAMPA, FL – CareerSource Tampa Bay will host our Annual 2019 Job Fair on Tuesday, April 16. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Doors open for Veterans at 10 a.m. and the general public will be allowed in starting at 10:30 a.m.

The Job Fair will take place at the CareerSource Tampa Bay’s – Tampa Center, located at 9215 North Florida Avenue, Suite 101, Tampa, 33612. There is no cost to attend the event but all candidates must be registered with EmployFlorida.com to finalize any job application. Those attending are asked to complete their profile prior to attending the Job Fair. “This is CareerSource Tampa Bay’s largest Job Fair of the year,” said Maria Suarez, Program Coordinator for CareerSource Tampa Bay. “In previous years we’ve had more than 500 people turn out for this event and we anticipate that many people to attend again this year.”

More than 50 employers have committed to attend the event including: Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART), Center for Technology Training, Community Medical Group, Florida Health Solution, True Core, Childcare Careers, Cognizant, DPR Construction, Fanatics, Global Connections to Employment, Habitat for Humanity, Manpower, Primeflight Aviation Service, and Wipro Limited are some of the companies expected to attend.

Job seekers are urged to dress professionally, bring plenty of resumes, and be prepared to interview. CareerSource recruiters will be available to provide job seekers with personalized resume writing assistance and job search techniques.
