Career Exploration Camps Connect High School Students to In-Demand Industries
~Eligible students can participate in St. Petersburg College camps through funding provided by CareerSource Tampa Bay~
PETERSBURG, Fla. — CareerSource Tampa Bay (CSTB) is partnering with St. Petersburg College (SPC) to provide funding for eligible high school students residing in Pinellas County to explore in-demand careers and gain hands-on experience through three SPC camps focused on healthcare, robotics and mechatronics, and advanced manufacturing.
Explore Health Care Careers Camp:
This one-day immersive camp introduces students in grades 9–12 to a variety of healthcare careers through hands-on learning, connections with healthcare professionals and employers, and guidance on education and training pathways to support their future career goals.

- Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

NextGen Makers: Robotics & Mechatronics Camp
This two-day camp equips students in grades 9–12 with foundational robotics and mechatronics skills through hands-on activities while introducing them to STEM and engineering career pathways. Participants will also connect with industry leaders and employers to learn about careers in these high-demand fields.

Future Makers: Advanced Manufacturing Camp
This two-day camp introduces students in grades 9–12 to careers in advanced manufacturing through hands-on experience with industry technologies, including 3D Printing, CNC Machining, and laser cutting, while highlighting the skills and career opportunities in this growing industry.
